CHAMPAGNE PAUL EVÊQUE

Champagne PAUL EVÊQUE is a unique product originally from the Champagne region with a centuries-old history, representing the sparkling zest for life in a distinctive bottle.

PAUL EVÊQUE – History

In 1920 Paul Evêque acquired an estate in Epernay, France. He founded his company and developed a champagne of the highest standard for Taittinger.

Paul Evêque married into the famous Taittinger family and was general director of the company’s noble brands from 1931 to 1945. Taittinger distributed Champagne PAUL EVÊQUE in the USA up until 1968.

Champagne PAUL EVÊQUE became an example of the “Alliance of noble taste”.

PAUL EVÊQUE – Today

Christina Dubois, daughter of Gérard Dubois and great-granddaughter of Paul Evêque, followed in her father’s and great-grandfather’s footsteps. She’s the fourth generation in charge of Champagne PAUL EVÊQUE. In this way Christina Dubois continues the nearly 100-year-old tradition of her family.

PAUL EVÊQUE – Production

Careful all year round cultivation of the grape-vine, the vintage, the stringent selection process using only uninjured grapes, the fermentation, the shaking of the bottles, the removal of barm, the filling dosage, the final bottle closure and the years of storage – are all decisive factors, responsible for the high quality and the high marks of Cuvées PAUL EVÊQUE on the market.

From complex and uncompromising manufacturing under strong state control to price specifications – the brand PAUL EVÊQUE stands up to comparison with the great Cuvées of the country and meets the highest standards.
